1. The votes in America clearly show the spiritual state our nation is in...the truth hurts, doesn't it? (But the truth will set us free, and freedom is what we strive for.) Also sadly, it proves a faster decline in old fashioned American soul. Not because America voted Democrat. But because America voted for a president who continues to make decisions that would make the writers of the Constitution roll over in their graves. We NEED to lift up President Obama in prayer and ask God to give him wisdom.
It may be that we as a nation will have the change we long for, and not the change that throws away the longstanding values, yet. But we must pray for Him. God loves him and sets him in place. This is a Biblical principle.
2. Churches in America have been coasting for a long time. As the times change, and as true believers become an increasing minority, I must say that as much as my stomach churns, my spirit rejoices. We pray for Jesus to come back. He will not come for a bride like us. Any form of persecution will weed out those in it for themselves and reveal with glory those in it for the soul purpose of loving Christ. May His kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.
